Tiles trivets with graphical decor
The idea to the Maze trivets from by Lassen, originated in the discovery an original tile, designed by Mogens Lassen personally in the 1950s:
"The central motif of the wall tile was so beautiful and it had such a rich history that we were of the opinion that it had earned it, to go into production. We could not just let it lie there. This initial idea led to a set of trivets, which are so decorative that you can leave it on the table, even if they are not used " Nadia Lassen managing director of by Lassen
Decorative trivets made of pottery
The Maze trivets are made out of clay and coloured with screen printing. The tiles present themselves in a pattern inspired by the original from the 1950's, that can -with other tiles.- be extended infinitely.
The trivets are available in square and rectangular shapes, whereby they can be used in manifold ways. Whether as a trivet for hot pots and pans, candles, glasses or as platters: Combine different shapes and colours and make the trivets to the decorative eye-catcher on the table or windowsill.
