Arne Jacobsen created a future oriented and minimalist cutlery in 1957, which is more contemporaneous than ever today. The cutlery was originally designed for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. When it was provided in the year 1957, it was very controversial.
The bright lines are connected to the manufacture work-out to a form that makes it lie pleasantly in the hand. The slim form and the miner contour from Arne Jacobsen has made Modell a classic. The cutlery Arne Jacobsen was shown in the 2001 Stanley Kubrik – A Space Odyssey film, as in others.
