More and more wines – including the nobler ones – are sold as „Bag-in-Box“. The advantages of this packaging are obvious: The wine in the airtight case remain fresh longer after they were opened. Moreover they are protected from light, they won’t taste “corked” and the package is weightless. Unfortunately this case doesn’t look as noble as the wine, which is inside. That's the reason why Royal VKB developed the Servin wine holder together with the design-team Edmire.
The Royal VKB Servin makes it possible to serve Bag-in-Box wines on noble dining tables, since the wine of the plastic case looks more stylish with this innovative wine holder. The modern design of the Servin wine holder includes a fitting weight. This weight doesn’t only press on the wine, but it also serves as indicator for the resting content and it can also be used as cooling element. The weight can simply be stored in the fridge before it is used, so that it cools the wine for approx. 4 more hours on top of the table.
Furthermore the Royal VKB Servin has a stainless steel handle. This makes it possible to port it wherever you need it, serving drinks and refilling it in another room again. Whether on parties or barbecueing with friends or the family, Servin embellishes the enjoyment of all Bag-in-Box drinks with a capacity of up to 3 litres. Also in our blog:
