Environmentally friendly and sustainable: The Cover stool by Objekten is more than it might seem.
The structure of the Cover stool is the package itself – an industrial container made of FSC-certified, CO2-neutral force line cardboard – it is more resistant than it might seem on the first sight (max. bearing capacity 100 kg). This revolutionary, completely “waste-free” stool concept was presented by the designer Alain Berteau for the first time in 2006 and it is produced by the Belgian company Objekten.
The utside cover is made of woollen felt, being responsible for the name of the stool. Inside of it there is the structure to be mounted (in only an instant – max. 5 minutes). The cover is cushioned with environmentally friendly foam, making it comfortable. The manufacturer suggests to dry-clean the cover, but spots can also be removed with a clean, damp cloth.
The cubic shape of the Cover stool by Objekten makes it also suitable to be used as side table, since it holds a lot of weight.
The stool is available in two sizes (34 and 46 cm). The covers of the Cover stool are available in four colours.
