Wogg 35 is minimalist design in perfection. The stool demonstrates the power of the Wogg design team in cooperation with the aluminium composites. Wogg 35 consists of only one material: a single Alucobond-panel. Thanks to a welding technique, developed by Wogg, it was possible to form the material to its characteristic U-Form.
Material and work-out guarantee the unusual stability of the Wogg 35 stool. It is the ideal fulfil to the Wogg 35 bench. It can serve as practical side table or enlarge the bench. The refined thing at it: the stool can be slid-in the bench space saving. Discrete grips at the interior of the stool make it easier to pull them apart.
The approach that brought the Alucobond panel into the right form for Wogg 35 stool was filed for patent in 2004. The Swiss company has already worked with the material Alucobond in the year 2000. The idea of creating a tunnel out of the material in the form of a turned-around U emerged between 2003 and 2007 in cooperation with Christian Erpenbeck. The result was Wogg 35.
The advantages of the used Alucobond (a 6 millimetres thin connection panel out of two 0.5 millimetres aluminium covering layer and a plastic core out of polyethylene) are: the visual and physical weightlessness as well as a hard-wearing and easy to clean surface. Furthermore the Wogg 35 stool is also adapted for outdoors because of its corrosion-resistance.
