Finally a smoke detector, which is almost invisible.
The maybe smallest smoke detector of the world.
Here comes the smoke detector which is smaller than a golf ball. But not only is its size unique: It remains completely discrete, not depending on the place it is installed, because of its elegant design. That’s the reason for its name “Invisible”.
Despite of its size, it fulfils all demands of safety and quality reliably. A loud, sharp tone starts to cry out as soon as smoke gets near it. And even being the smallest smoke detector on the market, it covers the same area as the bigger, traditional smoke detectors do.
This smoke detector has been developed by the Danish electronics company JO-EL for private users. Highly modern electronics in a small casing – in few words “The smallest smoke detector of the world”.
It has been honoured for its elegant design with the iF Product Design Award in 2011 and for its design and function with the Plus-X Award in 2012. Furthermore it was approved to be “The best product of the year 2012” by the jury of the Product-X Award.
Worth to know about smoke detectors:
There is a state regulation for buildings that makes the installation of smoke detectors obligatory since a few years. Smoke detectors must be installed in bedrooms and children’s rooms as well as in corridors of emergency exits. Important! A smoke detector only recognizes smoke/smoke gases, but it doesn’t recognize any carbon monoxide or gas.
