Manzù had made a name for himself primarily with his dynamic designs for the automotive industry, and “ Cronotime ” also features a dynamic design language.\r\nThe curved and compact body of Cronotime appears to protrude from the surface. What at first seems like a mere gimmick proves, upon use, to be extremely well thought out and useful. The two parts of the case are movable; they can be rotated relative to each other, creating different case shapes and allowing the watch to be oriented toward virtually any desired viewing angle. The optimal angle of the dial can also be adjusted using the upper ring, which is likewise movable. Thanks to their size, the numerals are always clear and easy to read.\r\nThe original design dates back to 196 6. At the time, Fiat sent out the table clock as an annual gift, and it was originally designed by Pio Manzù for this very purpose. Produced at the time by the Milan-based company Ritz Italora, this promotional gift quickly gained popularity. Because this technically and aesthetically clever take on a table clock as a Fiat gift was so well-received, the major Italian department store chain La Rinascente decided to add the clock to its lineup, thereby helping it achieve international success. Today, the small table clock is manufactured by Alessi in a revised second edition made of ABS plastic.\r\nThe “ Cronotime ” table clock is available in additional colors.","brand":"Alessi","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":57394905153880,"sku":"117382","price":70.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0959\/1760\/5208\/files\/Crono-Time-Tischuhr-schwarz-frei.jpg?v=1780053667"}],"url":"https:\/\/www.connox.com\/collections\/pio-manzu.oembed","provider":"Connox","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
