Hadi Teherani

Hadi Teherani was born in Iran in 1954. The popular architect and designer lives in Germany and works for numerous renowned companies. Hadi Teherani explained about his work: ”A good composition of several fragments will only be succeeded in an atmospherically perfected room, in the synthesis of architecture, interior and product design.”

The Iranian born German, creative head of the Hadi Teherani Group, builds skyscrapers, company headquarters, apartment houses, shopping worlds, train stations, authority houses and universities including their interior design, but also fair stands, showrooms and flagship stores. The cross-border working Teherani took architecture as initializing motivation for an all-including design demand. That’s why the whole program of a product and interior design – which is only atmospherically completed with architecture - belongs to his internationally awarded work: from the floor covering over the fittings up to the modular kitchen.

The Hadi Teherani Group headquarter is in the Hamburg Lofthaus am Elbberg, created in 1944 – near the multiple awarded constructions Dockland and Elbberg Campis. The Hamburg basement includes architecture, interior design, product design and consulting. Further subsidiaries are in Frankfurt, Moscow, Abu Dhabi and Bangalore.

This interdisciplinary approach of Hadi Teherani was honoured with multiple prizes. Some of the most known are the Design Award of the Federal Republic Germany, the iF Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award Best of the Best and the Neocon Gold.
