Jeffrey Bernett

Jeffrey Bernett, born in 1964, is a versatile American designer with works on the fields of interior architecture, furniture design, household products, lamps, accessories, graph designs and art direction. In the year 1995 he furthermore founded the Studio B as a consultant business for design strategies. Together with Nichaolas Dodziuk he consults companies such as Northwest Airlines, Muchaek Kors and Samsonite.

His first furniture and accessories collection named “Ideas for Production”, Jeffrey Bernett presented in 1996 on the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York City. In the first try there he won the Editor’s Award for the “Best Decorative Accessories”.

As one of few American, Jeffrey Bernett works together with numerous great European Design Manufacturers. Some of his contractors are Cappellini, B&B Italia, Authentics, Ligne Roset and Troy. Jeffrey Bernett did for example design the umbrella stand PO/9901 for the collection Progetto Oggetto of the Italian manufacturer Cappellini.
