The Japanese Komin Yamada is the first foreign designer who worked for Rosendahl. Komin Yamada designed the famous “global” knives. His latest creations for Rosendahl are a cooking and kitchen knives series as well as a collection of kitchen utensils like an eggbeater, a ladle and a spatula.
“When I am working with a cold material like steel, for example, I take a look-around in the nature and get my inspiration from that.” With the aid of organic natural forms, I am capable of creating a harmony between the user and the utensil!”
Thus, the blades of the knives are shaped like spikes and all handles bear the five characteristic rice grains.
