Véronique Maire

Véronique Maire started her career in the design studio Andrée Putman as manager of the products and furniture development department. Her duties also include luxuriousness for Christofle and Guerlain, to create exclusive furniture for Domeau et Pérès and to renew the surfaces of Tarkett or event-design in cooperation with BHV.

Véronique Maire founded the design studio IK together with Patrick de Flo de Besses in 2001- Both designers work for clients such as Packard Bell to create new computer typologies together, or for Cartier to equip the company intern restaurant. Furthermore they develop projects for the VIA, the gallery “di by”, the Contrast Gallery in Shanghai or the international Council of Stitching.

With more experience, Maire finally founded her own design office in 2006. There she designs dishes and table services for companies such as Hermès, the Cristalleries de Saint Louis, she designs perfumes for Armani and products for ENO. Véronique Maire also teaches Design at the Academy in Reims.
