Wolf Udo Wagner Founded his Studio for Design & Interior in Frankfurt, after he studied architecture and product design in Darmstadt and Manchester.
In particular, the architecture time embossed his ways of working until today. He is fascinated by the ways how architects work on plans and let their works go through their imagination. He had many, longer stops in Berlin and Paris where he worked and lived.
Wagner manages a studio in Frankfurt am Main together with Michaela Ebbinghaus (employee) and an international team since a few years.
His works have been awarded, e.g. the eligible Good Design Award of the Athenaeum Museum in Chicago.
Some of his projects are always shown in museums in international exhibitions and the commercial success is also displayed in them. Wagner's products are neat and functional. They communicate their structure, construction and the context in which they are used. The challenge for Wagner is to stimulate the design of new products with the context of the human, environment and culture.
The Geniol Fireplace, which Wagner designed in cooperation with the manufacturer Heinze, won the Design Plus and Gold at the DDC (Deutscher Designer Club) Award.
