It was one of the most original TV series in the Bauhaus history of the past years: The culture magazine “Stilbruch” (style break) by the radio station Berlin-Brandenburg searched for traces of the famous Bauhaus design school in Berlin.
Thereby the editors found famous objects as well as surprising discoveries. Simultaneously the magazine was occupied with the question of how the Bauhaus directs our everyday.
A milti-part series which is now viewable on Bauhaus-online.de/en emerged. The first part of the series talks about Wilhelm Wagenfeld and his famous table lamp, afterwards it goes to Richard Paulicks Kant garage.
As third piece in the series it is talked about Marianne Brandt and her legendary ashtray and finally “Stilbruch” investigates Ludwig Mies van der Rohes Barcelona Chair.
