The CeBIT shows design: A special exposition of the renowned iF Design Award is presented with a special exposition on the biggest electronics fair of the world: the CeBIT.
The iF Design Awards, emerged as “The good industrial form” in 1953 and were given for the 60th time this year. This year’s winners were presented in Munich in January and now the exposition of the winner products came to the Lower Saxony capital Hannover.
What place could suit the “good industrial form” the best if not the biggest fairgrounds of the world? All the iF Design Award 2013 awarded products were presented in hall nr 8 of the CeBIT. There is exceptional design out of the three disciplines product design, communication and package on more than 6000 m².
To visit the CeBIT is also interesting for design fans that don’t search for electronics, since there is a whole lot to see: More than 4,352 presentations out of 52 countries were decided this year. The jury awarded 1,410 designs: 981 iF Product Design Awards, 346 iF Communication Design Awards and 83 iF Packaging Design Awards.
