Max Bill watches in Bauhaus style

The Bauhaus collection from Junghans is distinguished by the Max Bill watches of the Swiss designer and architect. After his apprenticeship as a silversmith, Max Bill went to the Bauhaus in Dessau to study architecture as a pupil of Walter Gropius. After several years of working in Switzerland, he was co-founder of the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Ulm from 1951-1956. There he let the design idea of the Bauhaus live on and became one of its most influential representatives.

His Max Bill watches for Junghans are a prime example of the Bauhaus style and represent the striving for clarity, functionality and outstanding quality of this period. To this day, the watches have not lost any of their expressiveness and are considered true classics today.
