Art as part of the game...
Toys by Kurt Naef are the "Rolls Royce" of the wooden toys. They survive fast changing trends and electronic advance on the market: with timeless design, loving and high quality production and pedagogically sophisticated design.
The wide product range predominantly includes puzzles and skill games which explore and teach spatial sense, geometric laws and coordination.
The Swiss carpenter and furniture maker Kurt Naef started with the production of timeless high quality wooden toys in the late 1950s, alone and in cooperation with other designers. He reproduced some of the classic toys by famous Bauhaus designers.
Naef toys can be found in popular museum collections such as the Museum of Modern Art and in Japan. Naef is specialised in the production of high quality design toys, a majority of which are still handcrafted.
