Naim: Experience the Intense Sound
The Naim story begins with Julian Vereker, a racing driver and engineer, with great passion for music of the sixties and seventies. Because he felt the possibilities of playing the big albums and recordings of live sessions at home were disappointing, he began to develop his own amp and speakers. This was the foundation stone for a number of legendary and prize-prone HiFi products. The official founding goes back to the year 1973 in Salisbury, UK.
"The Voice of Naim"
To play back the original performance of music as realistic as possible - this is the main objective in the development of Naim music systems since the beginning. The intense sound experience is supposed to create a strong emotional connection between the listeners and the music.
Naim is based on 4 principles, which can be found in all Naim products:
1. Space - all critical components have their own environment, omitting outside or ‘toxic’ interference, which means no compromise on the purity of sound.
2. Circuitry - Any interplay between the internal levels is minimised, so that you can simultaneously enjoy both the quiet and the loud, as originally intended.
3. Material - all used materials excel in performance, not just appearance.
4. Technology - Naim constantly strives for new and innovative ways to achieve their goals, integrating sophisticated electronic design and software development, with mechanical engineering and acoustics to deliver a truly advanced sonic experience.
By managing the relationship between these four pillars of engineering we enable our listeners to hear every single note in equal measure and transcend from audio sound to musical performance.
One of the guiding principles by Naim: Let the voice of Naim take you inside the music… Go Deeper.
