Creative design from Tel Aviv
The Israeli design company Ototo from Tel Aviv has committed itself to the task of transforming their creative ideas into designs and to share them with everyone. The collection includes small functional helpers with a humorous and ironic twist.
Good ideas waiting around the corner
The designers Ori Saidi and Daniel Gassner met at the Art and Design School in Tel Avivi in 1999 and became close friends and design partners. They decided to found the design studio Ototo in 2004, which means as much as “every moment” in Hebrew.
The name (Ototo Hebrew for "at anytime") alludes to the motto of the designers: They believe in new and exceptional things happen every moment. The ground-breaking idea is just around the corner, drops down in the shower, or while waiting for the train, and when it comes, then Ototo would like to share it with everyone.
Continuous growth and new ideas
Starting with a small collection of handmade items, Ototo has produced large collections for the whole world since 2007. The collection is constantly growing and some designs can be found in museums, galleries, and at trade fairs. The team of designers is also growing and constantly looking for new ideas that the team would like to share with everyone who likes good design with a touch of irony as much as they do.
