{"product_id":"hay-backflip-chair","title":"HAY - Backflip Chair","description":"{h2} A folding chair with a well-thought-out design—the Backflip Chair by HAY {\/h2}\r\n\r\nThe {b} Backflip Chair {\/b} by {b} HAY {\/b} combines the familiar aesthetic of a classic wooden chair with a cleverly integrated folding mechanism. Designed by Icelandic designer Gudmundur Ludvik, Backflip appears at first glance to be a conventional dining chair. The folding mechanism is deliberately integrated into the design and remains visually unobtrusive—ideal for spaces where flexible seating is needed without sacrificing a cozy atmosphere.\r\n\r\nA twisting motion of the backrest activates the mechanism, allowing the chair to fold down compactly. This way, Backflip can be stored in a space-saving manner when needed. HAY also offers a wall mount that allows one or two folded chairs to be stored on the wall. This makes the design suitable for both private dining areas and flexible meeting, conference, and event spaces.\r\n\r\nBackflip is crafted from solid wood and features a molded plywood backrest. The precise construction combines stability with a minimalist, Scandinavian-inspired design language. The natural beech versions are available in various water-based lacquered colors. This allows Backflip to be discreetly integrated into existing interiors or used specifically as a pop of color.","brand":"HAY","offers":[{"title":"Cloud blue, semi-transparent lacquer","offer_id":58485609857368,"sku":"473703","price":182.1,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"Cream white, lacquered","offer_id":58485611331928,"sku":"473757","price":245.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"Anthracite, semi-transparent lacquer","offer_id":58485611364696,"sku":"473767","price":245.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"gold-coloured, semi-transparent lacquer","offer_id":58485611397464,"sku":"473770","price":245.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"Cedar green, semi-transparent lacquer","offer_id":58485611430232,"sku":"473777","price":245.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"Bronze, semi-transparent lacquer","offer_id":58485611463000,"sku":"473784","price":245.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0959\/1760\/5208\/files\/HAY-Backflip-Chair-wolkenblau-halbtransparent-lackierte-Buche.jpg?v=1789580231","url":"https:\/\/www.connox.com\/products\/hay-backflip-chair","provider":"Connox","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
