Its modern yet slightly whimsical design was a hit even back then, earning the lamp the gold medal at the Milan Triennale in 1954, among other accolades.

Conical lamp head and delicate frame

In terms of design and functionality, the 2013 reissue of “ Northern ” is every bit as good as the original and continues to impress today, just as it did back then, with its unique features: The Birdy floor lamp features a conical lamp head supported by a delicate frame. The lamp owes its name to its shape, which resembles a bird with its head bowed.

Designer floor lamp with adjustable light

Thanks to the two joints on the frame, the lamp can be adjusted to suit individual needs, allowing the beam of light to be directed in the desired direction. Placed next to an armchair, for example, the lamp provides excellent light for reading; in the hallway, however, the bright ambient light creates a welcoming, cozy atmosphere.
The Birdy Northern floor lamp is available in various colors.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0959/1760/5208/files/Northern-Lighting-Birdy-Stehleuchte-weiss-metallic_34994533-e322-40c0-9c41-db52bc334815.jpg?v=1779276491
