Jörg Adam and Dominik Harborth always put the human being at the centre of their design process. “Objects are his dynamic partners: He lives with them, he is surrounded by them, he needs them.
Memories are created with us, as well as history and even a relationship.” Five years after founding their design office in Berlin, Jörg Adam and Dominik Harborth began their own label in Munich in 2003: siebensachen.
As designers, Adam and Harborth are well-known in the design community and beyond thanks to their project “Helfershelfer.” Recently, their interpretation of the Mozartkugel was recognised by the New York Times as a “Musthave” in 2016. The wooden music box is on display, and can be purchased, among other objects from their collection, at the Museum of Modern Art. Siebensachen products (all designed by Adam and Harborth in Berlin) are internationally present in good museum shops and design shops.
