Fashionable poster with silhouette of a woman in black clothing
The Black Pants poster by Amelie Hegardt for Paper Collective shows a woman with black hair and black clothing. The special feature is the implied coat in the same color of the background, which was not drawn, but is only visible through the silhouette of the woman and the absence of shapes. Exciting and discreet at the same time, the motif blends well into any living space.
Black Pants is one of three artworks from a series of commissions for the British Fashion Council in 201 8. Swedish artist Amelie Hegardt was asked to interpret the SS18 collection by the three British designers Georgia Hardinge, Katherine Hamnett and Mother of Pearl. The originals can be seen at the Museo ABC in Madrid.

In terms of production, Paper Collective also pays attention to environmentally friendly conditions, so that all posters have been awarded the Nordic Swan eco-label, comparable to the Blue Angel in Germany. The Black Pants poster is printed on 200 g paper. The untreated paper is acid-free.
