Textile Basket from Nepal
The Cotton Bag is part of the Nepal Projects by Menu. The project supports Nepalese women by creating jobs with fair conditions. The designed accessories and textiles combine Scandinavian design with traditional production methods.
Cotton Bag with Leather Straps
In addition to many other designers Rønn and Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen by Norm Architects are also active for the project by designing the versatile Cotton Bag, among other things.
The basket made of cotton is a modern type of laundry basket that tucks away dirty laundry in a stylish way. But also pillows and blankets in the living room, toys in the nursery, newspapers and all sorts of other things can be stored in the spacious basket made of Nepalese handicrafts.
The harmonious combination of light and dark grey is complemented by high-quality leather straps that make the basket easy to move. Thanks to its simple, minimalist appearance, the cotton bag fits easily into any home décor and is a clever solution to the storage of textiles and other things at the same time.
