Armchair by Jaime Hayon
The Fri armchair was designed by the Spanish designed Jaime Hayon in cooperation with Fritz Hansen. It was the aim to design a comfortable seat which would encourage togetherness with others in a room, offering a comfortable and open atmosphere. The Fri armchair is produced by Fritz Hansen according to the highest quality and processing standards. The result is a functional and aesthetically appealing armchair, which is an eye-catcher in every surrounding.
Fri means free
Fri offers an own space to relax without transmitting a feeling of absence. Fri encourages our perception and interaction contrasting most of the other armchairs. “Fri” means “free” on Danish – the name was chosen because the openness in a room offers a feeling of liberty.
Colours and bases
The comfortable armchair is available in two different colours. The legs suit the cushioned seat and they are powder-coated or brushed. Each leg stands on nylon gliders, compatible to almost every ground.
The round design of the armchair is simple, elegant and pleasant for the eye and the body. Fri was developed to add comfort to every setting. Of course we need more than an armchair for a warm ambience, but the first step for it is done with Fri.
The cushioned armchair is also available coated with leather on demand.
