Minimalist Bed Made of Steel
The Connect bed was designed by Leif Jørgensen for Hay and is a minimalist design that consists of steel rails that are visibly screwed together. The "raw" appearance is reminiscent of the industrial style and ensures a tidy, simple ambience.
Originally, the bed was produced in the 1980s by a small company called LLLP and was known as the Copenhagen bed. In 2003, Hay took on the design because the piece conformed with Hay’s mission statement: uncomplicated furniture for everyday use.
It is available in various colours and sizes. In the sizes 160 cm and 180 cm there is a central bar included in the package.
