“DO” is the abbreviation for the Danish words “del og organiser”, which means “divide and organize” in English. And that describes the functions of the DO shelf very well, since it also serves perfectly as a room divider.
With the 4 and 6 compartments, the open form of the DO shelf makes it ideal to place in the middle of the room rather than against walls. The shelf by Skagerak can be used from all sides, which makes it particularly attractive as a room divider, without anything on it. The versatile shelf was designed by Rikke Frost.
Skagerak produces the shelf out of untreated oak wood, and the shelf’s boards have an additional melamine coating. The fact that the wood comes from a sustainably managed, FSC-certified source goes without saying.
The Skagerak DO is also available as a lower sideboard version with two compartments.
