Carpet with Colored Panels
The colorful Colour Carpet s were designed by Scholten & & Baijings for HAY . The tufted rugs are made of 100% New Zealand wool. The backing is made of cotton. The large-scale rugs are available in six vibrant designs. Using color gradients and graphic patterns, Scholten & & Baijings have created designs with optical transparency. Each Colour Carpet features clearly defined colored areas interspersed with further gradations and geometric lines. The colors are combined in different ways depending on the rug variant. In total, HAY offers six different Colour Carpet s. The Colour Carpet s from HAY are part of a collection of textiles developed in collaboration with Studio Scholten & & Baijings. In addition to the Colour Carpet s, the collection includes dish towels, bedding, and another rug series.
