The Hey Sign workshop has been producing innovative felt products "made in Germany" since 1999.

Since then, Hey-Sign has grown into an international company whose high-quality felt products delight people in many European countries as well as in the USA and Japan.

The timeless designs created under the direction of designer Bernadette Ehmanns, the bright colours and the unusual material felt make Hey Sign products exceptional pieces beyond the mainstream. The brand's presentations at trade fairs such as Ambiente and Decorate Life in Frankfurt am Main in Germany and Maison et Objet in Paris in France regularly attract particular attention.

Hey Sign shows how flexibly felt can be used and how much can be made from it. The craft material of the past can be turned into high-quality design objects with a wonderful look and outstanding properties.

Hey Sign also makes special seat pads for design classics by manufacturers such as Vitra and Fritz Hansen . Some creative architects have also discovered felt as an original and unusual material.

After all, felt is a "renewable" raw material with remarkable properties: it is breathable, kind to the skin, elastic, heat-insulating and, thanks to its natural fat content, dirt-repellent.

Hey Sign products are made by hand in Germany. The collection has now grown to more than 250 products. It includes individual pieces such as bags, tableware, home accessories, rugs, seating and much more, with up to 36 colours available in material thicknesses of 2 mm, 3 mm and 5 mm.

Hey Sign felt is made of 100% pure new wool, as documented by the well-known Woolmark label. According to the company, Hey Sign is the first and only felt manufacturer in the history of the Woolmark label whose products have been certified according to the strict guidelines of "The Woolmark Company".
