Polycarbonate shade

The contrast between material heaviness and lightness served as the guiding principles for the design of Hope . Paolo Rizzatto and Francisco Gomez Paz have given Hope an original design that interacts with the emitted light in a fascinating way. The outer “petals” are made of polycarbonate and are, in fact, flat Fresnel lenses with exceptional reflective and refractive properties. They enhance the captivating effect of the light and reduce the luminaire’s energy consumption.

Award-Winning Design

Hope was honored with the coveted Compasso d’Oro award in 2011 for its innovative use of Fresnel lenses and its delicate light. The Hope lighting family includes floor, wall, ceiling, and pendant lights in various sizes.
