Description
Floor lamp with glowing ball as lampshade
In 1998 Jasper Morrison designed the Glo-Ball -series from the Italian lighting manufacturer Flos . In addition to the series shown here Glo-Ball Floor lamp, the Glo-Ball Table lamp, Glo-Ball Basic and Mini Glo-Ball table lamp, and the Glo-Ball Pendant light.
The concise globular luminaire bodies shine in an atmospheric, diffuse light.
Mouth blown glass, steel and aluminium
The diffuser of the Glo-Ball Floor lamp made of hand-blown opaline glass with etched outer surface and a die-cast aluminium alloy threaded cover ring, alodine chrome-plated. The base is made of solid steel, the stem of die-cast aluminium alloy - all elements painted or chrome-plated in matt silver.
On/off operation and light intensity regulation from 0 to 100 % via dimmer are located on the power supply cable.
The Glo-Ball Floor lamp is also available in sizes F 2 (medium) and F 3 (large).
