Excellent luminaire design
Inspired by typical workshop lights, the May Day lamp was designed by Konstantin Grcic for Flos in 1999. Behind the sleek and simple design of the lamp hides a true all-rounder, which was awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 2001 and was added to the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Multi-purpose lamp with long cable
The multi-purpose luminaire from the manufacturer Flos is basically used where it is needed. When doing manual work, you can carry it on the multifunctional handle or hang it on it, or you can wrap the cable around the handle and place it next to you. May Day cuts an equally good figure in all living rooms as a simple pendant, ceiling or floor lamp, with the 485 cm long cable offering maximum flexibility.
Equipped with an E27 socket, the Flos lamp can be fitted with a suitable lamp up to max. 60 watts and can be used as reading light, work light or living room lighting.
