’s PH 5 320 Opal Pendant Light by Louis Poulsen reinterprets Poul Henningsen’s iconic PH 5 in a more compact format and with a new, opalescent material. With a diameter of 32 cm, the light remains true to the original design, yet its smaller size makes it appear particularly light and versatile.

The characteristic multi-shade system produces the glare-free, directional light typical of the PH 5. At the same time, the translucent, glossy opal shades allow some of the light to gently diffuse into the room. Thus, the PH 5 320 Opal functional downward light with softer, atmospheric general lighting. The simplified design does away with the lower glass diffuser, allowing more light to be emitted directly downward.

With its compact size, this pendant light is particularly well-suited for use over smaller dining tables or individually over side tables and kitchen tables.
