Design table lamp with organic, flowing shapes
Nessino is the newly interpreted and updated version of the famous Nesso table lamp by the Italian lamp manufacturer Artemide . The design of the lamp comes from Giancarlo Mattioli and the Gruppo architetti urbanisti citta nuova.
The classic table lamp Nesso was awarded 1. Prize in 1965 at a design competition in Milan. The Nessino interpretation of Nessino brilliantly expresses the modern zeitgeist of the 1960s. The rounded and organic design of the lamp evokes associations with a mushroom.
Nessino provides direct and diffuse light. The light penetrates colored through the mushroom head, while shining directly down onto the base. The body and shade of the lamp are made of polycarbonate. Nessino is operated with four lamps, so that the entire shade of the lamp is illuminated.
The Nessino table lamp by Artemide is available in different colors. She transparently gives an insight into her inner life.
