Glowing ball as table lamp
In 1998 Jasper Morrison designed the Glo-Ball series of the Italian lighting manufacturer Flos . The series includes the Glo-Ball Basic, the Glo-Ball table lamp and Mini Glo-Ball table lamp, the Glo-Ball pendant lamp and the Glo-Ball floor lamp.
The concise globular luminaire bodies shine in an atmospheric, diffuse light.

- Technical description: Diffuser consisting of hand-blown opaline glass with an etched outer surface and a threaded cover ring made of die-cast aluminium alloy, galvanically alodine-chromed. Base consisting of a 30% glass fibre reinforced injection-moulded polyamide element and the diffuser support in die-cast aluminium alloy painted in grey.
