Honest design for everyday life
byKATO is an award-winning design company that is committed to creating modern, functional products for everyday life. Karl Rüdiger Rossell and Tonny Glismand founded the design studio in 2010; its name comes from the first two letters of the founders' first names.
The founders share a passion for honest, useful design that almost everyone can afford. They want to close the gap between industrially mass-produced goods and handmade furniture by using renewable materials and paying attention to even the smallest details of their designs.
They only design products that they would enjoy using every day themselves. The result: a sideboard and a table from byKATO with clean lines, friendly colours and high functionality.
