Carlotta de Bevilacqua graduated in architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1983. In every project, the theme of the space and its spatial conditions take centre stage, with a constant focus on the relationship between light and space.
Carlotta de Bevilacqua also lectures at university and carries out research into new materials. Until 2004, she was CEO of the Brand Strategy & Development organisation within the Artemide Group, and since 2001 she has been Professor of Lighting Design at the Politecnico di Milano in Milan, Italy.
