The Ant chairs by Fritz Hansen look delicate and artful, much like the curves of a musical instrument. Designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1952, they are made of nine layers of moulded ash veneer. The elegant shape of the seat shell is reminiscent of the symmetrical body of an ant, while concealing its remarkable strength and comfort.
The design chair is available in many different lacquered finishes.
