Jonas Wagell

Swedish-born Jonas Wagell (b. 1973) studied graphic design, marketing, product design and architecture at schools including Konstfack, Beckmans, Berghs and Parsons, and holds additional qualifications in strategic project management and communication.

His work is based on functionality and focuses less on artistic elements. He likes to design everyday products that fit naturally into people's lives. His aim is to create simple objects that are easy to understand and use, and that sometimes have a personal, expressive element. With a wink, he describes his philosophy as "generous minimalism".
