Its vision is to make timelessly beautiful things that are produced responsibly. To do this, Mater combines the ideas of up-and-coming young designers with traditional Danish craftsmanship. This is how it ensures that the company's three core principles are upheld.
The brand makes furniture and lighting with a timeless, durable and natural design. The name "Mater" comes from the Latin word for mother. Mater aims to protect Mother Nature through responsible manufacturing processes and resource-saving furniture production.
