Parisian designers with a passion for sustainable furniture
"Our mission is to create better furniture." This sentence sums up TipToe's company philosophy. Thanks to a crowdfunding campaign, Matthieu Bourgeaux and Vincent Quesada, both from Paris in France, were able to bring TipToe to life in 2015 and have pursued their mission with enthusiasm and strong support from their community ever since.
TipToe specialises in durable, creative furniture made in Europe with meticulous attention to detail, reflecting an optimistic and creative modernity. For designers Matthieu and Vincent, it is particularly important to create furniture that several generations of owners will enjoy. Affordable prices and an individual manufacturing story also shape the character of every design piece.
Matthieu comes from a family of metalworkers in Chamonix in France, where some TipToe products are still made in the family-owned factory. He has a passion for design and interior architecture and the experience needed to bring his creativity to life. Vincent, for his part, spent many years abroad – in New York (USA), Berlin (Germany), London (UK) and Shanghai (China) – a source of inspiration for modern living.
Protecting the environment through universality and minimalism
TipToe designs have a high-quality finish and impress with clear, minimalist lines. Every piece suits a wide range of interior styles, whether private or public, and is designed so that its users can use it in their own way.
Sustainability runs through every level at TipToe: timeless designs are made to last, while 100% European suppliers guarantee quality materials. The products are assembled in French workshops, arrive flat-packed and are always impeccably finished. "Without this commitment to quality, we couldn't be satisfied with our work," say Matthieu and Vincent.
TipToe is committed to ethical, high-quality production from start to finish. Environmental impact is taken into account at every step, from processing sustainable materials to packaging with recycled paper.
To make its furniture, TipToe uses only sturdy steel, recyclable aluminium, wood from PEFC-certified forests, wood salvaged from demolished buildings and recycled plastic. Finally, holistic design, European manufacturing, low-impact logistics, durable construction and easy disposal round off TipToe's approach to sustainability.
A fresh colour palette
In 2020, TipToe added five fresh new colours inspired by Mediterranean nature to its palette: eucalyptus grey, coral pink, rosemary green, terracotta red and sunflower yellow. Combined with the natural wood tops and light-coloured recycled plastic tops of TipToe furniture, they create cheerful, modern contrasts that are sure to catch the eye in any interior.
