Warren Platner - Designer

Warren Planter (1919 – 2006) studied Architecture at the Cornell University. After His work for the design legends Raymond Loewy, Eero Saarinen and I.M. Pei, he deepened in furnishing furniture out of steel wire rod whereby he co-developed methods and tools for the manufacture of the Lounge Chair.

Among his projects in living room areas and for companies, the Georg Jensen Design Centre and the Restaurant “Windows on the World” worth what was once in the towers of the World Trade Centre in New York.
