Korbo’s hand made wire baskets are traditional, functional baskets with a history that reaches back to the Swedish of the early 1920s. The baskets are timeless and beautiful tools that have then been used by farmers and fishers for a reliable transport and for storage purposes. They resist wind and weather and age only slowly. They don’t tire and are generally very difficult damageable.
The production of the wire basket began in 1922 and remained unchanged since then. The hand braided baskets consist of one single long piece of wire, which is braided ba hand, completely without welding devices. This is also the reason why the baskets are that longevity – there is no part of the basket in danger of falling out.
