An elegant kitchen utensil series
The Craft series by Simon Legald for Normann Copenhagen is an elegant range of kitchen utensils made from natural materials. The series includes salt and pepper mills, a mortar and pestle, rolling pins and kitchen roll holders made from solid oak and robust marble. All products in the series have a simple, timeless design and, thanks to a certain weight, sit comfortably in the hand. The simple, curved shapes run through the entire series and are the hallmarks of the Craft series.
Simon Legald explains: "The mills, the mortar and pestle and the rolling pin are traditional kitchen utensils that get a lot of use. So, of course, they need to be very hard-wearing. On top of that, the work is done by hand. For me, that means the quality must not only be visible but also tangible. Marble and oak meet this requirement perfectly."
