Folding Shelving System

The Fläpps shelf from Ambivalenz is a foldable wall shelf that, when closed, sits compactly and extremely flat against the wall and, when unfolded, becomes a multifunctional piece of furniture. Available in various lengths, heights, and colors—with one or more shelves—the Fläpps shelf is ready for any situation, allowing you to customize your living space with the shelves to suit your individual needs. The shelves are made of birch plywood with stainless steel hinges. They are hand-painted and available in various colors. A small felt loop makes it easy to fold down the shelf. All shelves can be combined with each other and with other pieces from the Fläpps series. Together, they can create a custom-designed wall that takes up no space when folded down and is a true space-saving marvel when unfolded. The entire Fläpps series is produced near Berlin.
