The " Tizio " table lamp was designed by Richard Sapper for Artemide . The lamp’s arms can be freely adjusted and rotated. The lamp head and counterweights ensure stability. The head of the “ Tizio ” can be adjusted independently of the lamp body, allowing the light to fall exactly where you need it. The well-thought-out design and technical innovations inside the lamp enable fascinating rotations of the arms. The innovation in “ Tizio ” lies in its basic concept: A transformer installed in the lamp’s base converts the voltage from 230V to 12V and, via small rods and knobs, powers a halogen bulb that serves not only a structural function but also acts as a conductor of electricity. This eliminates the need for additional cables. The “ Tizio ” table lamp, designed by Artemide , and Richard Sapper, has won numerous design awards for its design. It is also on display in many museums around the world, such as the MoMA in New York.
