Description

As light as origami—the ORU wall shelf by Blomus

Artistic, clean, and functional—the Oru wall shelf by Blomus brings minimalist design and Japanese-inspired lightness to your wall. Designed by Robin Scholtysik, the shelf reflects the distinctive design language of the Oru collection, which draws inspiration from the Japanese tradition of origami. Crafted from high-quality stainless steel, the wall shelf combines stability with sculptural elegance. The striking steel panels appear delicate and light—while simultaneously adding modern, graphic accents to the room. Whether used as a standalone piece or combined in a modular arrangement, Oru adapts flexibly to any space—in the hallway, living room, bedroom, or kitchen. The shelf offers numerous design possibilities: as a stylish storage unit, bookshelf, nightstand, or floating decorative element. A design piece that perfectly balances function and aesthetics.

Modularly combinable: Three lengths for custom solutions
Delicate design made of powder-coated stainless steel
Ideal for books, decor, or as an elegant wall shelf
