The CH24P Wishbone Chair by Carl Hansen & amp;Søn reinterprets one of Hans J. Wegner’s most famous design classics. Since its introduction in 1950, the Wishbone Chair has come to symbolize Scandinavian lightness, excellent craftsmanship, and timeless design. With the new CH24P version, the iconic chair features a padded leather seat for the first time, enhancing seating comfort and giving the classic an elegant, modern look. Like the original, the CH24P impresses with its characteristic Y-shaped backrest and the harmonious blend of form and function. The new leather seat is available in carefully selected natural leather grades—ranging from soft aniline leather, which develops a unique patina over time, to particularly durable leathers designed for daily use. This makes the chair equally suitable for private dining rooms, restaurants, or prestigious workspaces. Each CH24P is crafted in Denmark from FSC®-certified oak or beech and undergoes more than 100 production steps, the majority of which are carried out by hand using traditional methods. The combination of high-quality materials, precise craftsmanship, and durable leather makes this chair a piece of furniture that will last for generations.
