Duraflon Bistro Folding Chair

Folding Garden Chair

With the Duraflon Bistro Folding Chair, Fermob presents this outdoor classic crafted from modern materials. Even in this version, the chair is an ideal companion on the patio, on the lawn, or even indoors. Fermob ’s Bistro Folding Chair was designed back in 1889 alongside the other foldable pieces in the Bistro collection. Even back then, they were in high demand among café owners and soda vendors across the country and quickly gained popularity. Simple yet sturdy and classic in design, the Bistro furniture has everything it takes to make a statement outdoors. The folding chair and tables can be quickly folded up, brought indoors, and stored to save space. In 1 9. -century France, this ability to quickly remove the furniture had the advantage of allowing café owners to avoid paying taxes on a permanent outdoor seating area.

Classic Chair in a Modern Material

Even today, the spirit of the Bistro collection has lost none of its charm. The Duraflon folding chair features a classic shape, but the material has been adapted to modern times. While the frame is still made of metal, the slats are crafted from Duraflon. Duraflon is a durable plastic that is weather-resistant, UV-resistant, and exceptionally long-lasting. Thanks to being made of Duraflon, the slats are softer and warmer than those of the classic steel version, thereby enhancing seating comfort. The Duraflon folding chair from the Bistro Collection by Fermob is available in all colors offered by Fermob upon request. All other items from the Bistro outdoor collection are also available.
