Pendant light with a floating light disc
The Frisbi Flos ’s pendant lamp is reminiscent of a floating, luminous Frisbee disc. It owes this effect to the thin steel cables through which it is attached to the lamp itself. The lamp body shines directly onto the disc below it and also through the hole in it. This creates not only direct light but also diffused and reflected light—a truly unique sight. Designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1978, the Frisbi pendant light is well-suited for use in public spaces such as restaurants and galleries. It also looks excellent above a dining table, a kitchen island, or in the living room.Acrylic glass and steel
While the disc is made of opal-colored acrylic glass, the lamp body consists of chrome-plated pressed sheet metal with a glossy white finish on the inside. The appropriate light bulb for the Frisbi Flos pendant light is available here.
