Timeless Wooden Pendant Light
Designed in 1954 by Friis &, and Moltke for Frandsen , the FM 1954 pendant light is a prime example of minimalist design. Its clean, rounded lines are complemented by two new finishes in walnut and oak veneer, which lend the timeless design a warmer, more natural aesthetic. The distinctive features and patterns of the natural veneer surfaces give each pendant light a unique sculptural character.Friis & amp; Moltke
Knud Friis (1926–2010) and Elmar Moltke Nielsen (1924–1997) founded Friis & amp; Moltke in 195 4. In the 1960s, they introduced a mild form of Brutalism to Denmark, characterized by massive structures integrated into the landscape, raw concrete walls, and exposed mechanical systems. Their unique creative partnership led to groundbreaking projects both in Denmark and internationally and had a significant influence on Danish architecture. The two partners collaborated on nearly every construction project undertaken by their firm.
